Access Control

In MMS Cellular POS, access to every significant software function is individually controllable. In addition, extensive audit trails are kept for critical functions.

Everyone has their own staff code and password, and managers can tailor each person’s access to match their job requirements. For flexibility, a Remote Authorization mechanism allows managed, one-time access to otherwise unavailable functions.

As well, each report can have a security level associated with it. Each staff person also has a security level associated with their account, and thus this will control who can run what report. Detailed staff activity statistics are also gathered, including attempts at unauthorized access to restricted actions such as deleting items from inventory.
